A full EX120 cycle is taken as 100%
Regeneration: the treated surface heals small scuffs and scratches on its own once no revitalizant is left in the oil, through internal compressive stresses and diffusion of revitalizant grains into the surface.
When revitalizant will not help
Broken parts, oil changes and what the result depends on
- Broken parts, cracks, destroyed bearing shells and scuffing deeper than 0.2 mm are not restored by revitalizant: that is a repair.
- It is not a replacement for oil and not a way to extend its service life: oil is changed on schedule.
- The result depends on the condition of the unit, the load, the oil and the dose. Dosing and the treatment order are per the product instructions.
